Juläine Collagen Bio-Activator
What is Juläine at CK Aesthetics?
At CK Aesthetics, we offer Juläine, a next-generation collagen bio-activator that works with your skin's own regenerative processes rather than against them. Made from poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible material that's been used safely in aesthetic medicine for many years, Juläine is designed to gently signal the skin to rebuild its own collagen from within. Rather than adding instant volume, it works progressively, helping to restore structure, firmness, and quality to skin that's started to lose its youthful density. It's a treatment we recommend to clients who want a natural, long-term improvement rather than an immediate, obvious change.
How Juläine Works
Juläine is injected beneath the skin using fine, uniform microspheres that integrate smoothly into the tissue. Once in place, these microspheres act as a mechanical signal that activates fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing collagen. This triggers your body's own regenerative response, gradually rebuilding the skin's structural framework over several weeks and months following treatment. Because the improvement happens through your own collagen production rather than an artificial filling effect, the results tend to look subtle and authentically natural, developing steadily rather than appearing all at once.

Practitioner & Safety Note
Juläine is administered only following a face-to-face consultation with a qualified, insured practitioner at CK Aesthetics. Your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your goals, and confirm the treatment is suitable for you before proceeding. As with all injectable treatments, results and suitability vary between individuals, and any risks or side effects are discussed fully at consultation.
-
Most clients experience only minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream or local anaesthetic can be used beforehand, and the injection process itself is quick, so any sensitivity is generally well tolerated.
-
Juläine works gradually. You may notice a subtle initial improvement after your first session, with results building progressively as your body produces new collagen. A course of treatments, usually spaced several weeks apart, is recommended for the full effect.
-
Results are designed to last up to 2 years, depending on individual factors such as skin condition, lifestyle, and how your body responds to treatment. Results vary between individuals.
-
As with any injectable treatment, there's a possibility of temporary swelling, redness, bruising, or small lumps at the injection site. Your practitioner will discuss all potential risks and how they're managed fully at your consultation.
